Going back to my roots.
Sometimes I get caught up in the business end of photography. I suppose it's bound to happen. I lose track of what first attracted me. It's the love of capturing someone in an abstract way, their true self. Photographing them when they least expect it. Jack and I took a few minutes to take some pictures yesterday. It was great, we forgot about exposure, or smiling at the camera, or even composition and just had fun. I love the results.

This shoot may look simple, but don't get the wrong idea. Twins look similar but their moods usually aren't. Ryan and Jack (good name!) were cute, funny, lovable, a real riot. With (my) Jack on my back, literally crawling on my the entire shoot, we got some amazing shots.

Meet Charlotte. She is a real go-getter. There were no pauses in this shoot, just a very advanced baby. Only 9 months old and I was there to witness her first steps. It makes me so excited to see my own little guy do the same!
